Unusual and theatrical designer Vincent Darré, famous for his baroque creations, just put his house and all its furnishings up for auction. Full of fantasy, flirting with surrealism and eccentricity, he is character personified in the world of decor and design.
Vincent has worked at Yves Saint Laurent, Montana, Prada, Fendi, Chloé, Moschino and Ungaro, a career in fashion he left for furniture design and interior decor. On 23 November his fanciful Paris apartment was put up for auction. Including designer fabrics, Salvador Dalí–inspired sofas, 1960s treasures and lacquered tables, the wild and colourful space is unlike anything you’ve seen before. Wild!
